Charities & Sponsorship

Charity work

We're committed to working with our local communities and supporting the many initiatives and social activities that take place within the areas we work. We regularly provide sponsorship, free accommodation and funding for community and family events and many of our team are actively involved in residents' committees and local associations to help understand how we can support their work.

Among the other charities we support is "Millenium Tapestry" who facilitate schools around the world to contribute to important events through creating tapestries. Their latest project is the Thames Heritage Tapestry which depicts life along the Thames Valley has gone on to complete a major exhibition throughout the south east in time for the Olympics. The tapestry has been hung in St Paul's Cathedral, the Ashmolean Museum, Hampton Court Palace and many other prestigious venues.

We are a proud supporter of The Prince's Regeneration Trust

The School

Heyford Park Free School officially opened in 2013. The school caters for students aged 4 to 19 years and teaches core subjects including Maths, English and Science, at both primary and secondary level, with a specialism in History to reflect the site’s prominent heritage status. Pupils will also be taught Modern Foreign Languages, PE and a variety of specialist subjects such as Art, Design, Music and Business in the Specialisms’ Campus, due to open on the former Sport Centre site at Heyford Park. Year groups are limited to 60 students in total and the school will grow in phases to reach 840 pupils by 2019.

Homes in Heyford Park fall within the catchment area for this already popular school.
